EXQUISITE!
Only fragment:Please read "Condition Description" ....French in origin....authentic of the 19th century.  A treasure for doll costumers.....crisp, flat, pure silk taffeta base with finely detailed rose/tiny leaf pattern....the pure silk embroidered threads are so heavenly soft that the pattern feels like velvet in texture, however, it is not.  Has its original tiny silk selvedge on one end, running widthwise.  It is not flimsy thin and has strong fibers......no signs of deterioration or brittleness.
Photo 2 depicts full fragment...last photo portrays underside with selvedge.This measures approximately 12” x 8 7/8”.
