These two pieces of cast metal dolls house furniture come in good condition showing only the expected age related wear to the painted finish (see photos). They are both very rare items and by Dinky Toys Meccano England. Both the bed and the dressing table are in the Art Deco style suggesting they date to the 1930's. Both have the Dinky Toys Meccano cast trademark to the underside (see photos) and the bed has the original lace edged cover. I not sure if the dressing table had drawe...rs originally but as there is no evidence of any fixings hinges or damage around the edges and as the inside has a painted finish suggests that perhaps it did not. There is a tiny bit of damage to the casting edge at the bottom left hand side of the plinth and the top left hand side edge of the dressing table (see photo). The bed stands 1 1/2" (3.8cm) tall at the top headboard and measures just under 3" (7.4cm) long x just under 2" (4.7cm) wide.Also included is the ceramic roll top bath that dates to around the same time comes in excellent condition and has the "Givjoy" trademark to the underside. This measures 4 1/2" (11.5cm) long x 1 3/4" (4.5cm) wide and stands 1 3/8" (3.5cm) tall. International buyers welcome.
