For sale here is an extremely rare US Pre WW1 Leather Garrison Belt Ammunition Pouch. The Pouch is for one 5 round clip of .30-06. The front of the pouch features a rimmed eagle snap closure that is fully functional. The back of the pouch has a leather pass through slot that is held in place by 4 rivets. The pouch is made of brown leather and is supple and strong. The pouch does have age darkening and heavy patina to the brass. The inside of the snap... appears to be dated 1909. The back of the pouch is stamped with the letters H.B. on the belt loop, and J.D.S. just below the loop. There are no other markings that i can find. This is a rare piece that will make a great addition to your collection.
