**BE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN INTO THE DESCRIPTION AND LOOK ABOVE AND BELOW FOR MORE PHOTOSThis is a most unusual item to have survived, as it is a complete box of eight classic Clarke’s “Pyramid” Night LightsThe box has their label with a trademark and the stamp: ”By Appointment to Her Majesty Candle Makers.” The top also states “Plaster Base. No Water Required” and Price’s Patent Candle Company Limited London.”The candles are in excellent condition. Each of the eight ca...ndles bas their original labels and the wicks have never been lifted. These are squat candles without the tapering top of the “Burglar’s Horror.”The box is in good plus condition with one split seam on bottom of box. The label and lid are in fine condition. Box was found unsealed so part of the label is missing on the lower part of the box on each end. There would have been directions that read “Raise wick before lighting, Avoid draughts, For satisfactory relighting burn for at least one hour. Do not use for vaporizers.” On the opposite end reads “8 Clarke’s ‘Pyramid’ Night Lights, Each night light will burn for 9 hours.”This rare collectible is in good to very good overall condition for it’s age with minimal staining and wear and would make a great addition to a collection of early lighting.
