The tiny bottleis very old, perhaps 1930s in age and is hand blown glass with goodworking screw top metal portion with serrated grip design, made inPortugal, the site of the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima. The bottle hasbeen affixed to a fine mesh chain, 8 1/4” in diameter, to which hasalso been attached a small rectangular medal of Our Lady of Fatimawith Sacred Heart of Jesus depicted on reverse. The bottlemeasures only 1½:” long 1” wide; It shows a figure of theMadonna on it...s pressed glass front, with inscription surrounding theimage in Portuguese; the reverse shows the maker's hallmarks with theword Portugal inscribed near the bottom. The bottle isempty, with good working threads which hold it securely shut, and mayhave originally held holy water or blessed oil from the famousshrine. It comes with a 2 1/2” square dark red holding pouch withdrawstring and a waterproofed full color holy card in mylar casingdepicting Our Lady of Fatima appearing to the three children seers-an unusual and collectible item- pendant miniature glass holy waterbottle and chain, with extras.
