Lovely japonisme inspired French printed fabric. Beautiful Stylized motif in white, pale yellow, pink and blue-grey on a burgundy ground. Dating from the late 1800's.
Condition: Very good overall. A few tears along right selvedge edge. Carefully hand washed pressed and ready to use. Approximate measurements : 31" x 23"
A medium weight cotton appropriate for many projects including upholstery , pillows, cushions, curtains, doll clothes, dolls, ...crafting, quilting, lampshades & more!
I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
