A very rare find. Antique, Victorian Brass and Gold Tin Inkwell.
Features a girl in a prairie dress walking through a field, holding a basket in one hand and a gatherers basket on her back. She is turned profile and looking off into the distance.
Has two golden tin pedestals to hold ink bottles. There are two hooks jutting out from the basked to hold the pen.
The base is brass with four ornate legs that are also that golden tin color. The base is weighted and heavy - on the un...derside looks to be filled with a white concrete. It does not feel like or look like plaster, but could be.
The basket has ornate details - lots of scrolling floral accents with flowers. Basket is empty, possibly to hold other supplies or a flower.
Dimensions are 5in tall by 4.75in long by 2.25in wide
