1918 Era. H.Disston & Sons London No.12 Spring Steel, 8 PPI X-C. 26" Saw . i think these Disston No.12s are one of the best user saws you will ever own. the plate is Shinny, straight, . no pitting to mention . i have jointed, set and sharpened the teeth X-C. on a machine . the Etch is strong. Full Nib. No PPi stamp at the heel. the plate is 26 " long 1 3/8" at the toe 61/8" at the heel, i would say this saw was someones go to saw, its been sharpened a few ti...mes. it has a owners stamp on the plate and handle.The Handle and Hardware are original on this saw plate . Nice Apple handle, Full horns i had to replace the top horn. i have oiled and refinished the handle. its ready to go back to work, if you choose to do that with it.
