This auction is for an uncut paper doll book featuring the artwork of American artist Charlot Byi (Byj).
Includes two dolls - Lucy Lockett on the front cover & Kitty Fisher on the back.
There are a total of six pages of outfits; three pages for Lucy and three for Kitty. Each costume piece is marked on the tab to show which outfit goes with which doll.
Included are school dresses, coats for going outside, formal evening wear and more, accompanie...d by hats, chalk boards, teddy bears and accessories. The accessories are delightful and are appropriate given the time period (1950's) in which the book was published.
The book size is 12 1/4" x 10 1/4. The dolls are 11 1/2" tall and both the kitty and dog are 4 1/2" tall. Charlot Byi's signature appears on both front and back covers.
