vintage bowl from the 1980's would make an elegant centerpiece and features a lovely swan. swan is symbolic of beauty, grace, and elegance. Swan is associated with fidelity, as swans mate for life. no chips or cracks, and the label states "over 24% PBO Timeless sparkling elegance fully detailed, very exciting. • Please see pictures for complete description.• Hand cut lead crystal.• Made in West Germany.• The glass is clear with th...e swans frosted.Please note as per the picture, it does look like the base is somehow attached with glue to the bowlThe bowl itself stands on a starry base with 3 curved strong stems meeting up at the bowl. The bowl is relief carved with Swans in tall grasses and has an elaborate toothed edge. When I tap the side of the glass with a teaspoon and listen to the sound it rings like a bell. At the top of the bowl it measures 7 3/4" tall and 7 3/4 in diameter. The bottom base measures 4 1/2" diameter.Thank you for looking.
