For bid is this antique vintage Portable Model T/A Ford Era classic car Brass Foot Warmer Carriage Buggy Heater.I have no idea the origin or country this is from but I have never seen one like this. This warmer is unique. Wherever its origin was from I bet that warmer has some interesting stories to tell since its so many years old.What a great piece of history to have.The side vent works so heat could be adjusted for proper heat distribution and a carrying chain is used to transport t...he warmer wherever you want.What a great addition to display in the back of a Model T/A Ford or other antique vehicle of your choice or just as a conversation piece if your a collector.Back in the early 1900's individuals would pull the drawer out insert a hot coal in the tray and this would keep them warm.Most vehicles, carriages and buggies in the day didn't have heaters so this type of unit was the reason for the foot warmers. The warmer was also used for other purposes.The approx. Dim. are as follows.Length is 9'' Height is 2 1/2'' width is 5''. Being sold as is.
