Rare Scalextric pre production prototype AEG Merc C9 - 88 Clearsample.
This Scalextric 1/32 scale slot car is a model ofthe AEG Mercedes C9. The car is a translucent clear plastic bodyshell. The car has been fully assembled into arunning car using a production chassis and running gear. I have absolutely no idea why this body wasproduced in clear plastic, mould samples are never clear, clear plasticcannot be painted for sample liveries, it may have been produced as part o...fan exhibition display to show the internals of a car whilst on an exhibitionstand.
