Rare DVD 6 Disc Set of the Pierre Dupont Family silent movies put out by The Hagley Museum in Delaware. The Padle-A-Miow Collection consists of six discs and a 72 page booklet.According to the text in the booklet these movies began being created in 1927. The impetus for their creation was a mixture of bordom, creativity, and to spoof the sometimes coincidence filled films of the era. The group thought they could do better! So, if you are the fabulously wealthy Dupont family you ca...n give it a try. The Padle-A-Miow production company was named after the first initials of those involved in this movie making venture. The list includes Pete Dupont, Alice Dupont Doris Dupont, Lucille DuPont and Edith DuPont. Therefore, the word Padle has only one D instead of 2. The movies have a musical soundtrack created using a pipe organ on the family estate. Condition is Very Good with only minor wear to booklet and case. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
