Vintage Sterling Silver cigarette holder with unique edge design. Weighted to hold the cigarettes without toppling over. Weight 46.1 grams. Silver is very nice; some very small corrosion spots on the bottom. The stamping on the bottom is very poorly done, so the only words that can be made out are "STERLING" and the percent. There is also a flag stamped along with the manufacturers stamp. Stamp is not easily readable, but is typical of Industrial ...Manufacturers Sterling Company (IMS) of the USA (probably in New York). Thus IMS is the most probable manufacturer.
