I am selling this beautiful vintage French embroidery which was once a gorgeous monogram on a dowry sheet, it's fabulous and would make a superb addition to any interior project. I have the complete sheet and will sell the whole sheet if require for £25 which could then be incorporated into a header on a curtain, finish a bed throw, incorporated into a table cloth....... the list is endless.The large monogram which has been embroidered has two magnificent letters, 'A P' and as the ph...oto's show has been beautifully embroidered.The shaped monogram in total measures approx 23 cms wide x 17 cms tall. The embroidery still stands very proud of the fabric and is wonderful condition. There is 7 cms of fabric above the monogram and 15 cms below, plenty to either side.Although I am just selling the monogram I couldn't bare to cut it from the top hem of the sheet which has been decorated with a row of ladder work and then another row of ladder work which traverses up the sides of the sheet. The only reason I am not selling it as a sheet is because it has some light marks, not a problem if you were to dye it, please let me know if you are interested in the complete sheet and I can send some photographs.A wonderful piece of vintage craftsmanship that could be incorporated into many a textile project.The fabric is a snowy white linen metis.Please note the ladder work is only included if the whole sheet is purchased.If you would like me to send the sheet then please let me know and I will re adjust the postage.Weight for postage bracket 300 gramsUK buyers please note I have shown postal prices for both UK and France. Don't forget I can combine items up to 6 kgs using 'prioritaire' postage and a special box from the post office ( 2 - 3 sheets), I can post up to 6kgs for £52 worldwide, please contact me to ensure that your items will fit into the box. If buying from the UK I can often arrange your item to be posted from UK, there will be a delay whiltst I arrange for it to be taken to UK, but you will of course save on postage.
