ANTIQUE COPPER CHOCOLATE POT, WOOD HANDLE, VERY RARE FIRE HEATED IRON ELEMENT . This is a unique copper chocolate pot with a fine shaped wooden handle in really very good condition. The contents of the pot are kept hot by a cast iron cylindrical shaped element with a loop hook top heated very hot in a fire than installed into the base of which the filled pot is then placed on the base and kept hot. The signature of the maker is impressed on the bottom... of the base unit. The height to the top of the lid is 8 inches. The copper has been polished and coated with a clear coat to maintain it's beauty. The lacquer clear coat can be easily removed if one desires the copper to tarnish.
