Rare! 1890's Baker & Company Colorado Springs bottle.  This is about as nice as they come. A very tough Colorado Springs drug stove bottle that is listed as 1898/1899.  It is listed as the highest rarity at a 5 in the Rise/Demise Colorado Drugstore book by Preble.  This one is very clean with only some slight inside stain, otherwise it shines and looks brand new.  No cracks, chips, fleabites or scratches.  There are a couple of styles of Bakers and this is ...the one with the ridged base and sloped shoulders.  In the slug plate it reads, in script, "Baker & Co. Druggist--Colorado Springs--No, 8 S. Tejon St."  On the bottom it has 3 stars, W. T. & CO. and then Pat. (Jan. 1894 was smudged out in bottle making process).  This is a nice size at 6 1/2" tall, 2 5/8" wide and a little over 1 1/2" deep.
