VINTAGE COLEMAN Lamp & Stove Co Patent 1919 instant Lite Antique lantern old. Condition is Used.
I am currently cleaning out my grandparents estate and found this interesting lantern lamp. I know nothing about lanterns so please bear with me while I describe what I can see about this lamp.
It is exactly as pictured. I made no attempts to clean it at all so there is dust on it, It is dirty. This shows you the honest evaluation of as found. That way you know what you need to do to ...restore it. So please look at all of the photographs. I am searching for flaws or heavy dirt.
I can turn the valve. I don’t want to force anything because it might need some oil. The push rod on the side of the tank goes in and out smoothly.
The patina is 100% original. As found. I doubt that the lamp works in the condition that it is in. It looks like it would need some cleanup but again I am not an expert. The lamp is…
