I am offering on Buy It Now a one-of-a-kind serving tray from MacKenzie-Childs. This painted tray features the scenic view of the MC property in Aurora, New York. The VIctorian homestead of the company is pictured with the home, barn and several other buildings on the property. The picture is painted on a hard surface and the back of the picture is enameled with a lovely floral pattern. The tray is framed with a wide 2" real bamboo border. The picture is 11" X 18" and the overall tray ...is 15" X 25". There is an old black Victoria and Richard stamp on the underside rim of the bamboo. The picture has a coating over it, but there is a water mark on the lower edge of the painting. The bamboo has laced corners and the frame is in excellent condition. The underside enamel is a large floral with pink and yellow roses on a pale green background. It is in excellent condition. This is a very rare item, long since retired. I have found no record of any others, although I assume that several or more were made. The tray will be carefully packed for safe shipping.
