Vintage Metal Wall Mount Mailbox
Vintage metal mailbox - unknown maker, as shown in photos.Very good condition with no major flaws or damage noted.Copper metal construction with nice protective green patina to the finish from years of exposure to air - photos taken with rather harsh florescent lighting; natural lighting would be somewhat "softer" appearance.Box is approximately 12" wide, 6" high, 1 1/2" deep at base, 3" deep at top (lid); 11" high (top of decor to bottom of newspape...r holders).The newspaper holders are bolted to the box and could be removed, if desired, The top decor (on the lid) is a heavy metal casting.The series of holes across the front allow one to see if mail is inside the box.The crown at the front left corner is non-magnetic, but not certain what the material is made of (seems to be metal)/The label holder on the front lower corner is 1/2" high x 2 1/2" wide.Great natural green copper finish would complement many house styles and would be difficult to replicate (in short time).Compare the shipping options - FedEx ground may be cheaper depending on your zip code.Local pickup also welcomed.Please forward any questions...
