1916 Cort Film Corporation Stock Certificate
Historic early theater company founded by John Cort. The Cort Circuit was one of the first national theater circuits. Cort's Grand Opera House in Seattle was built by Cort. He also founded the Standard Theater, the first in Seattle with electric lighting. Not a very fancy cert, but historically important and scarce.
