ITEM: This is an original gelatin silver signed Bunny Yeager photograph from a 1956 shoot by Bunny Yeager of well-known model, dancer, actress, and two-time Playboy centerfold, Diane Webber. Here, Webber is captured in a dramatic pose with a flourish on the beach in Southern California. Bunny had long admired Webber's grace and beauty and had strong desire to capture her on film, and eventually was able to shoot her while on assignment in Los Angles in 1956. Yeager stat...ed; "Our heads were tuned-in together because when she found out I liked to shoot artistic nudes, she followed my directions perfectly and almost every shot was a classic."
Although shot in 1956, this print was struck in the 1990s, after Hurricane Andrew destroyed most of her negatives and prints from her sole sitting with Webber.
The image appears on page 107 of "Bunny Yeager's Pin Up Girls of the 1950s" and in "Bunny Yeager's Foto File Number Five" which is exclusively devoted to the "Queen of the Nudists."
On verso is Bunny's signature in pencil at the bottom. We have no 3rd party COA, but guarantee this to be hand signed by Bunny Yeager as it comes directly from her estate. Whether in the studio or out of doors on location, Bunny's eye for composition and artistry makes this still perfect for your collection.
