Epiphyllum ' American Sweetheart ' Rooted Cutting - Rare Orchid Cactus
Item History & Price
One of my Top 10 Epis, hands down, and one that should be in every collection!
Always beautiful, the color and size of this classic can be variable from season to season (in my conditions), regardless, she's always stunning. The gorgeous flowers are large, and can vary from light pink and gold, to intense salmon and orange, as is seen in the photos of my mother plant. I've been growing this variety since the early 90s, and it has remained one of m...y absolute favorites for all those years. A Wressey Cocke hybrid, introduced in 1977, it is a cross between "Ruby Snowflake" x "Tassel".
This offering is for one well-rooted and established cutting, with new growth showing or beginning to show, in a 3 1/4" pot - similar to what may be seen in the photos. These are not full plants but, rather, smaller, well-rooted cuttings that are just beginning to show signs of new growth, or new growth is already developing. If you don't want to have to wait for a cutting to root, this will save you a few steps and time. The young plant you will receive is healthy and true to name (and may show a few nicks and dings).
Cultivation Instructions Included with Purchase!
I've been growing and collecting Epiphyllums for over 40 years, and enjoy over 600 varieties in my collection. It would be hard to choose a favorite, but it would probably have to be the one that's right in front of me!
All photos are of plants in my own collection - unless stated otherwise. Flower photos are for reference only. Not in bloom.
I do combine shipping for multiple items - please request a new shipping total before checking out. (Please Note: requesting combined shipping can not be done on a phone - the request must be made from a computer or tablet. For some reason, the ebay phone app doesn't allow it. )Thank you!
Upon arrival of the seeds/cutting/plant, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. I want you to be happy with your purchase and to have the greatest success in its cultivation! Robert
