SUCH A Rare and lucky find, a lovely lovely textile! ~ This is a vintage French pillow case / cover that dates from the 1960s made with an amazing fabric by Romanex de Boussac called "Carlioulette"! ~ This pattern is absolutely stunning, with fabulous bold colors and lovely off-white ground tone. Wonderful satinized cotton fabric so it has a bit of a sheen to it. The fabric is a heavy weight and finely machine woven. The corners of the rectangular pillow case have a cor...d edge that the fabric is wrapped around to give them a nice sharp look! The pillow case is open on one end so you can insert your pillow, on this opening you can see the original selvage with the information about the fabric. At the moment I am listing these I have four pillow cases in this fabric that I am selling here separately, and four full sets of long drapes in this fabric. MEASUREMENTS : ~ This gorgeous textiles has the pattern on both sides and measures about 19 inches long by 27 inches wide.
CONDITION : This pillowcase is in as found, not freshly laundered condition with very light storage dust. I am selling multiples of these pillowcases, so please increase the quantity if you would like more than one. There are some small very pale marks from storage and some light aging of the ground. I believe these will wash to look like new. LOVELY condition!
