This is a vintage lever fill fountain pen which measures 5 1/4 inches long with cap in place and it dates to the 1950's. This is the Conway Stewart No. 58 fountain pen, which was made in England, and it is decorated in the striking light and dark blue marbled pattern. It comes complete in its original Conway Stewart stained box together with instruction leaflet. The screw on cap has a black stud at the end;... gold plated pocket clip with Conway Stewart logo and three gold plated cap bands. The gold nib is marked "Duro Conway Stewart 14ct gold" and the barrel is marked "Conway Stewart 58 Made in England". The gold plated lever bar is also on the barrel but I will point out that the very tip has been broken off - a replacement will be needed. The condition of the fountain pen is good with no chips, cracks, nicks, damage or restoration but for accuracy in my description I will point out that the pen has been used as there are traces of ink on the nib so an overhaul and new ink sac will be in order but I will leave this to the buyer.
