Ocean City, Inter-State, Bait Casting, Level Wind, No. 998. Ocean City MFG. Co., A and Somerset Sts., Phila 34. PA. Reel is listed in the Ocean City Catalog in 1948. Reel is in perfect physical condition. It winds. It free spools perfect. The drag sets nicely. I am concerned it might not be switching from 2 way reel, to one way mode. I oiled it, from the outside. I did not open it, so it needs grease, and probably a tuneup inside. It make an excellent display as is. It really looks gre...at. But I don’t think it’s ready for fishing yet. I’ve never used one like this, so it might be OK? Please look at the pictures close, this is the reel I’m selling, if you have more questions, or you want more pictures just let me know.
