Oh my goodness...you are all in for a treat!...guess who stopped by Magpie Manor this weekend? Ms. Cathy Sanders, miniature doll artisan. Ms. Sanders has been creating dolls for years and she's rubbed shoulders at shows with the best of them, everyone from Marcia Backstom to Susan Harmon to James Carrington. Her creations and personality left me in awe, she is a true miniature a...rtisan with a love for her craft. She has decided to bestow Magpie Miniatures to curate her collection and find a special home for each one of her own treasures. The group photo is just a tiny selection of what's to come. Now remember, each one is one of a kind, there's only one of each. She used these pieces in her own shows or loved them so much she couldn't bear to let go...until now.
This is a Victorian wicker plant stand with a plant. Using lace as a medium over wood, she created the perfect duplication of a real Victorian staple. It's hold a artisan made plant, you can place by a window, fireplace or just about anywhere. Perfect for Paris Apartment style too.
