Original Description:
I am not a hunter, which explains why my mortified face was not captured in the photo.  My dad, his best friend, & my older brother drug me along as they hiked & hunted in the Alaskan wilderness in the early 1960's. Much to my dad's credit he did have the meat processed... bear is bitter; and I cannot blame him, I would be too if someone shot me dead. He also had a beautiful bear rug made which was left to me upon his passing.  I could not bear the rug, and gave it to... a very enthusiastic friend.  I am bad daughter.
