Here is high quality, feeling solid 5-7/8”long sterling silver spoon from Kirksville Missouri dating back to years around1900 featuring on the front of the handle detailed images: state seal showingbear on both sides, the wording UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL, below bannerwith Latin inscription SALUS POPULI SUPREMA LEXESTO, below MDCCX for year 1720, then miner working with a pick, then banner across reading MISSOURI, stack ofwheat and corn plant down the handle. In the bowl it has... embossed very detailedimage of building, the writing is A.S.O. & HOSPITAL (for AMERICAN SCHOOL OFOSTEOPATHY) and below KIRKSVILLE, MO. Condition of the spoon is excellent, measures 5-7/8” long (148 mm). On the back marked STERLING along with Watson& Newell Co. markings (crown W lion).
