Vintage (1989) LEGO Pirates Set 6270 Forbidden Island - VERY RARE

Hello, this is a vintage LEGO Pirates "Forbidden Island" set 6270 that came out in 1989. This used set features 4 vintage pirate minifigures (including the infamous Captain Redbeard!) at their large Island Hideout! This set comes with a little bit of everything. First, it is built upon a rare 32 dot x 32 dot large Island baseplate. There are steps to get up into the Island Fort, and a rope bridge to get to the main part of the hideout. A cool feature... of this set is there is a pin you can pull out on the right side, that makes unwelcome visitors fall down through a trap door into the prison cells below! There is also 2 huge ladder pieces that lead up to the crow's nest at the top of the set! The set also comes with a cannon, a barrel, a rowboat with 2 oars/paddles, a small pirate flag, a large pirate flag, a shark, a monkey, a parrot, a palm tree, a bunch of other green palm tree leaves , 4 cutlass style swords, 2 flintlock rifles, 2 flintlock pistols, and a chest filled with gold treasure! The set is basically complete. The only thing I want to mention is the large pirate flag has been glued onto the flagpole using a strong plastic epoxy, as the clips were slightly broken. I can't guarantee it will hold, but I think it should. I believe everything else is there, and looks to be in great condition for being over 30 years old! Please note there may be a few imperfections on some pieces due to age/wear/exposure. Please also note that while I try my best to describe everything accurately, it is possible that I may have missed something. But I don't think I did. Original box included, instructions missing. The set was put back together using free instructions found through a quick online search.
