Vintage 1940’s Circus Toy - Benda-Toy National Playthings. Condition is Used.Rare and hard to find from the 1940’s. This thick cardboard toy set folds and changes into a Circus show tent. The cardboard pieces are held together with tie tack pins (there may be one or two missing). All the cardboard pieces are there, a few show wear from age and use. One cardboard side piece needs repair as it has separated at the fold. The top has some tape on the red canopy as shown. The flag for t...he top needs repair, as it has come off from it’s mounting base. It’s almost 80 years old, but in overall good shape!Toys, latters and animal pen are all made of wood. The animal legs spread so you can stand them up. The only character with a defect is the blue horse, it is missing a leg but still can stand.Not original to the set is the triangle the seal is sitting on and the teeter totter the clowns are on.Sold as shown.
