Up for your consideration is a super nice and crude rectangular shape Antique hair bottle embossed all on four separate indented beveled panels as indicated : Lyon's // Kathairon // For The Hair // New York. This outstanding open pontil 1840's to 1850's era light green bottle is in original excellent condition with absolutely no problem or concerns: no cracks, nicks, or dings anywhere as well as almost no interior clouds or haze. The glass itself is very clean loaded with crude charact...eristics including whittled marks and imperfections as well as having a tooled applied hand finished double collar mouth and a jagged tubular open pontil base.It measures approximately 6 in.tall and definitely would be a great addition to your hair or pontil bottle collection.
