Here is a classic, old fish decoy by old time Minnesota Clifford Peterson. It is 5" long not including the leather tail. We have seen a few Clifford Peterson mice with fabric coverings but this is the only wood and leather example we have seen and it has to be quite rare. The decoy has carved eyes, leather ears and a leather tail. It is beautiful, original and never used. It is unsigned but there is no doubt as to who the maker is. I got this decoy with many others by Mr Peterson and i...t definitely has his fin shape and other paint characteristics. The age is around 40 years old.
