Vintage Collectors Vulcan Classic Child’s Electric Toy Sewing Machine . Made in England. Condition is Used. Machine is in box with instruction book and clamp to secure the machine to surface securely. Please note writing of the name “Florence” in 2 locations on box and torn and taped lid corners on box and x-mark etchings on instruction book as pictured. Free-arm extension table with a motor and battery power- Vulcan’s first electric model. Weighs about 3 lbs 12 ounc...es Approx 9 “ long when extension table is not attached and approx 7 1/2 “ tall. Needle goes up and down when crank is turned. Battery compartment is free of corrosion but has not been tested. I was unsuccessful in actually sewing when I tried several years ago but I’m not mechanical and didn’t persist. Metallic stickers are intact and in good condition (see photos).
