Up for sale is a handy mixed set of 7 x SCOTCH STYLE AUGER BITS, good for drilling timber, these bits don't tend to wander, square tapered shank for fitting into a hand brace, various makers. • 1 x 18.8mm Irwin • 1 x 17mm Mathieson • 1 x 14.7mm Whitehouse • 1 x 13.5mm Morrison Sheffield • 1 x 10.3mm Mathieson • 1 x 8mm Gilpins• 1 x 6.8mm Morrison Sheffield
Be aware that if you go... to most hardware shops you pay approximately $1 per millimetre of width per twist bit, so this is a very good deal for a set of 7 augers. Very hard to find a good set of 7 x Scotch auger bits, perfect for the unplugged workshop. Weight - 500gThe ruler and matchbox in the photos are for a size comparison only, not for sale. CONDITIONThese auger bits are in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, could do with a sharpen with a needle file, some pitting & wear & light rust, a good set of augers essential for the unplugged workshop.
