Only one other owner since new of this wonderful
classic Arco lens. It comes from the extensive
camera collection of noted and award-winning
New Mexico writer and photographer Ken Cobean.
Ken's images have appeared in magazines
such as Life and Time during the 1950s & 1960s.
This lens mounts to any Leica L39 (LTM) screw mount
35mm rangefinder camera such as a Leica, Canon,
Nicca, and Leotax to name just a few. The lens is
digitally adaptable for use on a wide-range
of mirrorless digital cameras (please see my examples).
The resolution, contrast, and detail is impressive.
The aperture blades look great and operate smoothly.
There are some dust specs inside the lens and some very light
haze but I do not see any fungus filaments or mold.
These slight defects do not affect the
final images or the performance of the lens.
The lens screws in smoothly. The focus is smooth and spot on.
The aperture ring is a bit stiff from lack of use but it does
move through all the stops. The original Arco
metal lens cap screws-in perfectly and holds securely.
Please check out the detailed pictures of this
wonderful lens that you are purchasing for
the overall quality and condition.
This lens comes from a smoke and pet free home and studio.
