Heavy, heavy, heavy. Hand made, feather stitched and hand tied, crazy patchwork quilt from another time.The fabrics are wool and wool blends, plaids, solids, houndstooth, color on color solid patterns, all of rich deep winter and autumn colors. Feather stitching and yarn tied of a beautiful pumpkin color.Rust, olive, charcoal, basin red, blue, navy....The borders are navy and black.The backing is a soft flannel of olive green with alternating ticking stripes of blue and green.The batti...ng is visible through some small holes and frays. It is blue and white cotton ticking, however it seems to be covering even thicker batting. The quilt is approx. 3/4” thick and is thick and heavy.
