ITEM: This is a vintage and original, large format silver gelatin photograph of Hollywood actors Merna Kennedy and Glenn Tryon. Photographed by Freulich for Universal Studios, this funny, playful portrait features Tryon with one hand raised up to his face and he looks off into the distance, clearly searching for something. Perhaps he is searching for Kennedy, who has found the perfect hiding spot on Tryon's back. No matter where he looks he'll never find her. This unique studio portrait was taken to promote the duo's latest film, the 1929 talkie with Technicolor sequences, Broadway.
Measures 11" x 14.25" on a glossy double weight paper stock.
