A very nice Medieval bronze beehive thimble with a domed top and spiral tiny indentations.There are two grooves on the bottom rim. It was made slightly asymmetric in shape with one side being slightly longer. It dates c 1400's from the shape and style. It is 2.2 cm tall and cm diameter. very good condition with a couple of tiny nicks on bottom edge. A nice example and an amazing piece of history. It is from a small collection of thimbles dating 1400-1600's that I am listing. Please ta...ke a look at the other items I've listed, I combine postage.
