This very fine Victorian Gothic style Combination inkwell and candlestick i think dates to around the 1880s , the inkwell/candlestick is made of very heavy brass and has ornate designs all over including faces on the sides and talons as feet as seen in the photos, there are two incorporated candlesticks and a large hinged lid that reveals a glass liner that unfortunately is cracked but completely original , underneath there are registered numbers as shown , the inkwell measures 8 x 5 x... 4.75 inches including the candlesticks , there is general minor wear and tear with age and use
