Wonderful vintage 1986 musical box from "The Phantom of the Opera" Musical. My understanding is that this is one of the earlier versions that features the winding mechanism on the bottom, which are no longer sold and getting harder to find.
The Phantom's Monkey sits upon a beauti...ful bench of black, gold and red. The base is embellished with bright gold painted detail.
His arms move back and forth as the song "Masquerade" plays.
Comes in original box and foam set.The box shows some wear mainly on the edges and a slightly torn corner. The foam set shows wear and tear, but still keeps it safe and secure in the box.
