For sale is a truly rare (abadly overused word on ebay) light green galalith not Bakelite Catalin elephantnapkin ring. It dates from the 1930s-40swhere it was found after WWII in a closed factory in what was then East Germany. It is 3 1/16” X 2 ¼”. It is thin at 7/32” / 6 mm. It is in clean, excellent, undamaged conditionwith no chips, cracks or other condition issues but it wasn’t finished, i.e.tumble polished so the surfaces show machining lines and f...ine scratches. It weighs 18 grams / 0.6 ounces.I say rare because for 26 years I haverelentlessly shopped shops, shows, flea markets, estate sales and ebay and don’trecall the last time I saw one of these.
