This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the MEGA RARE1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Strictly Elvis released in the USA.The record itself (EPA 994 WITH NO DOG) is in VERY GOOD+ condition with some visible marks/scratches and retains some of it's natural sheen.(see photos)The centre labels have NO WRITING but do have a small numbered sticker on one side(see photos)THIS IS QUITE A HARD ONE TO FIND AND WHEN IT DOES NORMALLY SELLS IN EXCESS OF ...£100
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $65 in the condition it is in now (which I would say is EXCELLENT) for the sleeve alone!!!THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT THE BEST CONDITIONED SLEEVE OF THIS RELEASE I HAVE SOLD IN YEARS!!! (see photos)
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS , TEARS or WRITING.( see photos)The colours are nice and bright , sleeve flat with only some light ringwear on the frontThe record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!! Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $215(£180+ approx) I don't have a current price guide but I would say at least £185.
