Original Description:
This vintage bottle is in good condition for its age.  There a no visible chips or cracks.  The inside is hazy in spots.  The front of the bottle says “The Great Dr Kilmer’s Swamp-Root Kidney Liver & Bladder Cure Specific”.  One side says “Dr Kilmer & Co” and the other says “Birmingham N.Y.”  The bottle is approximately  8 ¼ inches high.  The Kilmers began selling the swamp root medicine in the... mid-1870’s but sales declined in 1906 with implementation of the Pure Food and Drug Act.  A great piece of American history.  Estate sale.
