Title:Antique Inkwell StandDescription:Presented for your consideration is this antique inkwell stand (or set). The stand is made of silverplate with a very ornate pattern running around the outer edge and claw-like feet on the bottom. The feet also bare a intricate, ornate pattern that is similar to that of the one of the outer edge of the base. The rest of the base is plain. Sitting in the middle of the stand are two clear glass inkwells with brass lids. The lids easily go on and off... of the glass bases. The inkwells fit nicely in the stand. Underside of the stand is marked with "C.S." with a crown over a shield in between the two letters. Unsure as to what manufacturer this hallmark represents. Guaranteed to be antique. This beautiful inkwell set would make a nice addition to any office/desk item collection or great to use!One of the inkwells has some slight yellowing of the glass. No cracks or chips in the glass.
