German made antique pocket watch. Ralph lever byJ.Kaiser.1920s. Going strong.Josef Kaiser was a member of a well known BlackForest clock making family. He acquired the Villingen plant after its bankruptcyin 1914 and quickly developed it in to one of the largest watchmaking factoriesin the area. The company existed until 1975. The watch has mechanical movement signed: ‘j.Kaiser GmbH’ Villingen. German’ Open face, metal case is 5.50 cm in diameterwithout crown. Has signs of wear ap...propriate to age. Glass has small scratches.Metal face with luminescent numbers. New chain is included. Please refer tophotos for more details.Crown wound. Typically for watches from thatperiod care must be taken not to overwind the main spring. Time is adjusted byturning the crown in pulled out position.
