Up for auction today is an Original 1925 Grand Army of the Republic or GAR Memorial Day program from their meeting at Parsons, Kansas. This 8 page pamphlet measures approx. 5 1/2" x 11 1/4". The front page gives a letter to participants, followed by committee lists and program notes. A majority of the program then lists Union soldiers buried in Parsons. The very last page even lists a few World War I soldiers. The pamphlet was printed by Burnette Printing (presumably in Parsons). Its i...n nice condition for its age. There is some typical light edge/corner wear, light age discoloration, especially some darker spots to one of the bottom corners, and some light paper residue to the front (probably from an envelope).
