Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:306435 | Maker: Singer |
After more than 40 yearsof collecting, the time has come to thin down on my
antique-sewing-machineephemera. Please check for new items each week.
They will range from thesuper-rare to the more common. All will be packaged
carefully in ahard-card-back envelope or whatever might be more suitable.
Happy to combinepostage where practical.
I’m guessing that Singer’sattempt to break into the simple chain-stitch market
commanded by Willcox &Gibbs in the ...1920s wasn’t too successful, for very
few of the Singer 30 machinesappear to have survived.
There are even fewer manuals, not surprising, because it was a simple four-page paper pamphlet.
We have one here, inremarkably fine condition, with evident folds but no tears
or paper loss.
The instruction pamphletmeasures 5 ½ inches/140mm x 8 inches/200mm.
