Through multiple searches, I was only able to find one reference to this item and it was at a toy museum located in Belgium. They acquired it in 2009. The DESKATOR was manufactured in the 1930’s by Bois-Manu for Good Luck Toys. It was designed by the Belgium artist Leon Goetgeluck who also designed many other collectable toys as well as created many other pieces of art that are occasionally found at auction galleries. The construction kit consists of wooden pieces in excellent condit...ion and seems complete. Given its age, the original box is also in excellent condition with some tears on the corners of the lid and one side edge. Also included are two original instruction sheets, one is intact the other has a tear.(see photos) I acquired this item in the 1980’s along with other old toys when I lived in Belgium. If you are a collector, I believe this is a unique opportunity to add an item to your collection that I believe is fairly rare. The size is approximately 201/2 x 93/4 x 2 inches.
