This is a really nice, handmade old large hank of a pink opaque that has a slight lavender undertone. It has the rugged appeal of irregular, handmade beads are is likely from late 1800's to early 1900's. When measured as it is laid out in the photo it is 12 1/2 inches long with 28 strands. It is 1.4-1.5 mm and 32 beads per inch. This is a 32 gram hank and I only have one, period! This is all there is.
I recently bought out the remaining stock of a bead ...shop out West that is closing, and has served the Native American tribes in the area for over 40 years. Some of the beads I acquired were packed away in the basement of the large trading post, and were not offered to the public. Sixty years ago, they obtained the contents of a warehouse in Murano, Italy whose artisans were glassblowers that handcrafted tiny antique seed beads since the 1800's. Production of handmade beads stopped in the 1940's.
I will refund your additional shipping charges when you buy multiples of any of my beads, so that all you pay is $3.75 for everything combined. The refund will be made through Paypal if you use that payment system.
